This is my first makeup look for you guys. Now it is not the first one I came up with but it is the first one I am posting. I am not really sure what to call it. I think it looks like something a barbie doll would wear to prom if she wasn't in pink. Only don't think its made to be a barbie look; I was just messing around when I made it.
1) To start off do your normal foundation routine. I will post mine one of these days but keep the foundation clean, this look is best when the face is close to flawless. When I say flawless I mean even and natural, not with like no pores or pimples or perfect because that's impractical no one has that. Just get to the natural way you feel prettiest, only I did not apply any bronzer for this look. Then I applied a very light amount of a peachy blush; I had used one I got in an ULTA kit.
2) Now to start the eyes. Prime them with your favorite primer. My favorite primer is Too Faced's Eye Shadow Insurance. It makes your shadow last a long time and really makes the colors pop. You can get my favorite primer online at toofaced.com, Sephora, or ULTA. There probably are others but those are where I buy my Too Faced products, which is my favorite makeup brand.
3) For this look I had used Too Faced Enchanted Glamourland set on the eyes, only you can use any types of shadows you want in the same shade. Highlight the eye with a color close to your skin tone, right under the brow bone. After that take a small shader brush and get a silver color; such as Ooh and Aah. Apply this color to the inner third of your eye; you want a fair amount.
4) Then take an extremely small amount of a yellowish or orange color, George and Weezie, to that same brush and sweep once in the middle of your eye. This will help blend the next color with the silver.
5) Wipe off your small shader brush and get a golden color; I used Honey Pot which is my favorite eye shadow color ever. Apply this to the outer third of your eye, and place some over the yellow color in the middle.
6) Then take a blending brush and use a wind wiper motion lightly over the center to blend the colors together. Continue to do so until they are evenly blended to your liking.
7) I had liked my top lashes with a dark brown pencil, only you may use black or what ever you like. Make a thin line on the top that is sharp and crisp.
8) Line the bottom lashes with that same color, but only got about a third of the way in and smudge that line across.
9) Take a mascara in the same color as your eye liner and apply to your bottom and top lashes.
10) Lastly, I had used a beige-berry lipstick and applied it lightly to my lips; I used Clique's Angelic.
Now the look is complete. I hope you will try it out and have fun; make it our own. Check back for more looks coming soon. I have a spring one for this week, because it is my spring break. If your on spring break, have fun.
Bye. Love,
Mads
